What Neto Actually Does
RouterOS gives you an excellent view of what’s happening at the router — Torch, the Bandwidth Test tool, the wireless registration table, interface counters. What it doesn’t give you is a continuous, historical record of what a device sitting in a specific room, on a specific band, actually experiences over time.
Neto fills that gap. It’s a small, self-hosted device that joins your WiFi like any other client — not a router plugin, not a MikroTik package, just another device on the network — and runs a full test cycle every 5 minutes, around the clock, on both bands independently.
